Founded by Planned Parenthood in 2014, Raíz is a national initiative rooted in grassroots organizing to advance reproductive justice, health equity, and civic engagement in Latine communities.
Raíz Ohio launched in 2022 to build trust, expand access to care, and connect Latines with advocacy tools and vital resources. Through culturally relevant outreach and partnerships with Latino-led organizations, Raíz empowers communities to take action and shape policyRaíz is more than health it’s about justice, knowledge, and power.

Raíz: Powering Latine Communities
Colors+ Counseling is an inclusive mental health organization based in Greater Cleveland dedicated to providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals, youth, families, and allies. Their trauma-informed and culturally competent therapists create safe spaces where every person feels valued and supported in their healing journey. Through their partnership with MQA+, Colors+ Counseling helps expand access to mental health resources, foster resilience, and promote holistic wellness within queer, Latinx, and multicultural communities.
In partnership with Multi Cultural Queer+ Association (MQA+), Colors+ Counseling brings deep expertise in culturally competent, identity-affirming mental health services — reinforcing MQA+’s mission to empower queer Latinx, immigrant and multicultural communities by ensuring that mental health, healing and wellness are accessible, inclusive and rooted in lived experience.
